This blade was hand forged in Japan by Kosuke Muneishi. Using yasuki hagane blue #2 steel sandwiched between SUS Stainless steel, this blade is rated a 64-65 on the HRC scale. It is extremely sharp from Blue #2 core steel, while also corrosion resistant from the stainless steel!
It is fitted with a hybrid oval/WA shaped handle, crafted from highly figured rare Koa wood.
