This knife was hand forged in Japan by Yasuhiko Fujiwara. The blade core is forged from Yasuki Silver-3 steel, while the Damascus consists of Nickel and SUS420J2. It’s a relatively light blade, that is nimble, and agile. It’s a hard steel, rated at a 62-63 HRC , while still being highly corrosion resistant, and easy to maintain!
This knife was fitted with traditional WA shaped handle, crafted from a rare, beautifully figured piece of Koa wood.
